“On Monday, we received a call from a link man and negotiations started on how the driver should be handled once he surrenders,” said Kimaru.

“He came accompanied with his family members and we did an identification. He had injuries on the head and hands,” said Kimaru.

“We had to take him to Narok where the investigating officer is based and where the accident took place for him to write down his statement that will help in unravelling what really happened when the accident occurred,” said Kimaru.
The driver of the bus is believed to have gone missing while on his way to hospital.
On Monday, the owner of the bus was arraigned in court to answer charges of allowing a defective bus to operate.
