Former Kenya Prime Minister Raila Odinga was today blocked by airport officials from accessing the VIP Lounge at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) while on his way to Kisumu.
Raila’s spokesman Eliud Owalo termed the incident as intimidation by the government and said the former PM expected a public apology from the government. "Arising from today’s incident, Hon. Raila will not take anything short of a public apology from the highest echelons of Government," said Owalo.
