It was alleged that the husband of the woman had suspected she was cheating on him, so he visited a witchdoctor who applied black magic on the wife, causing the man to get stuck in her during the act.
For more than 10 hours, a big crowd swelled outside the hotel to witness the drama, as anti-riot police led by OCS Alexander Kipkorir kept vigil for any eventuality.
By 6pm Tuesday, the curious crowd was still camping outside the hotel hoping to identify the culprits.
The manager of the hotel was forced to take a team including the media inside the hotel’s rooms to ascertain if the cheating man and the woman were still hounded inside. Nothing was discovered.
Reports indicated that the rumours were fuelled by claims that a police vehicle was seen in the morning taking some beddings from the hotel. Those who saw the vehicle suspected it had come to evacuate the two victims.
