The victorious Jubilee coalition has been urged to fulfill the pledges it made on the campaign trail.
Nyamira County URP officials led by party County co-coordinator Robin Okeri and Organising Secretary Joash Mong’are called on President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto to hit the ground running on fulfilling their promises;
Mong’are echoed Okeri’s sentiments saying that Uhuru and Ruto must work to address the rampant unemployment, lack of proper infrastructure, failing health standards and lack of security.
Mong’are also thanked the people of Nyamira for helping give Jubilee the votes it needed to win the election in the first round;
“We also thank Nyamira County residents for ensuring that the President–elect got 25 per cent threshold required as per the Constitution,” he said.
