THE Head of Public Service Francis Kimemia has threatened to sue individuals in the Cord alliance who claimed he was part of senior government officila planning to rig the Monday elections.

Kimemia called on the IEBC to investigates the claims and make public their findings saying Kenyans needed to know the truth because, "we have been accused and lynched by individuals out to destabilise the country." He said he is innocent and hoped the electoral body will clear him.

He refuted media claims that he had been summoned by the electoral body to respond to the allegations.

IEBC chairman Issack Hassan on Monday said Kimemia, Internal Security PS Mutea Iringo and other civil servants had responded to the Cord allegations.

“IEBC should not allow this creative incitement, demonisation of institutions and casual approach to general elections,” said Kimemia

“I don't think the chairman of the IEBC would call us through the media. There are some people and we have already identified them who harbour evil plans to character assassinate government officials."

He denied ever meeting Jubilee leaders at the Landmark Hotel and that he rode on a motorcycle to meet elders and plan the rigging.
