A little bit of lemon juice, may be the perfect liquid to liven up your herbal tea or water in the morning. If you want to include more lemon juice during the day, a pitcher of lemonade, lightly sweetened, makes a tasty drink to enjoy for more than just one time.

• Include More Healthy Recipes that Use Lemon Juice, or Lemon Peel

One healthy recipe is roasting green beans with, onions and marjoram sprigs, drizzled with olive oil in a 450 degree oven for about 20 minutes until slightly browned and tender, then topping the green beans with lemon juice, grated lemon peel, and chopped almonds for a delicious, and healthy side dish.

Another recipe is a healthy low-fat chicken lemon rice soup where 6 cups of low-fat chicken broth is brought to a boil with one cup of rice added. Then, 3 eggs and the juice of one lemon are beaten together well. Melt a small amount of butter in a saucepan and gradually add some flour until smooth, and slowly add the broth. Next, add a cup of cooked chicken and some fresh dill to the broth, followed by the egg and lemon juice mixture. Heat until thickened. Enjoy!

Although lemon juice can help with weight loss, it’s always best to include a nutritious diet, along with a regular exercise program to achieve the best possible way to maintain a healthy weight.
