They say old habits die hard, and freshly sworn in members of parliament are starting where their predecessors left it; lining up their pockets. In what may the first battle against the constitution they swore to protect, new MPs are vowing to challenge the half a million shillings salary cap set by the salaries andremuneration commission.
As NTV's Brenda Wanga reports, the constitutional armor around the setting of public sector salaries may well prove the biggest nightmare for the new MPs.
