At about 2:29 a.m., police said an officer observed George and Grace on top of a woman in a parking lot, at 7200 W. Ray Road, according to the documents.
The officer said he “immediately” took George off the woman and handcuffed him, according to police. Police said Grace was apprehended by other officers.
Grace told police that she had been fighting with the woman, and that they had both grabbed each others hair and fallen to the ground, according to a court document.
George said he was attempted to break up the fight, according to police.
Police spoke with the woman, who said that Grace approached her from behind a tree while she was walking to her vehicle from the Sandbar Mexican Grill and assaulted her, according to a court document. The woman said Grace grabbed her hair and hit her in the face, according to police.
She said George then pushed her to the ground before both of them got on top of her and began to twist her arm in an “attempt to break it,” according to a court document.
She said that George pushed her face into some gravel, causing her to suffer several scrapes on her face, according to police.
George and Grace were booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail, according to a court document.
Police said a witness observed the woman attempting to get into her vehicle when she was approached by Grace and hit in the face, according to police.
