The pollster indicated that if Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his deputy Musalia Mudavadi met at the polls, Martha Karua and Peter Kenneth would benefit from Uhuru Kenyatta's supporters.

The poll shows that in case of  Raila Odinga with Kalonzo Musyoka as deputy  and Uhuru Kenyatta with William Ruto as deputy  face off in the coming presidential elections, 52.2% would vote for Kenyatta, 39.1% would vote for Raila while Martha Karua would get 2.6% and Peter Kenneth would get 2.1%.

The poll further indicated that if Raila met Musalia at the polls with Kalonzo as Raila's deputy and Ruto as Musalia's deputy, Raila would win by 44.1% against Musalia's 40.5%.

Peter Kenneth's stakes would rise to 4.0% while Martha Karua would get 2.6% and Eugene Wamalwa 2.9%.

The results would require a run off in which Musalia would win by 45.2% against Raila's 44.1%. However, this would not meet the constitutional requirement of 51% of the votes cast to be declared the President.

In the case in which neither Raila nor Uhuru were on the ballot papers leaving Kalonzo and Musalia to battle it out, 45.4% of the votes would go to Kalonzo, 33.7% votes to Musalia, Martha 10.2% and Peter Kenneth 8.1%.

The subsequent runoff  between Musalia and Kalonzo would  maintain Kalonzo as the winner with 43.5% against Musalia's 40.0%.

The CPS polls were tested on a sample size of 1702 respondents in 45 counties in the country.

The collection of data was done by face to face interviews between 6th -9th December.
