According to a source, Ngilu’s flip flopping on which alliance to join (between Jubilee and CORD) has not sat well with most of the people in the Jubilee Coalition and so she was locked out.
This then leaves the way open for Uhuru Kenyatta and Musalia Mudavadi to face off next Tuesday to see who will be the flag bearer of the alliance.
The smart money is on Uhuru taking the ticket but Mudavidi has the strong backing of State House operators and may just pull a fast one on the son of Jommo.
