The meeting comes barely a day after Mudavadi revealed that he had been promised to be the Jubilee Presidential flag bearer by The National Alliance (TNA) party leader Uhuru Kenyatta on December 4 but later declined such a proposition claiming that he was coerced by ‘evil forces’.
In his revelation before the members of the press on Tuesday, Mudavadi explained how the Jubilee leaders led by Uhuru and Ruto agreed to have him carry the coalition’s Presidential flag a thing which Uhuru has vehemently denied.
This is a big boost for the PM‘s Presidential bid, especially in cementing the Luhya voting bloc.
It’s however not clear which position Mudavadi will get in the Coalition of Reform and Democracy (CORD), but credible sources indicates he may get the Leader of majority in parliament.
