A 50 year old man was found in the act of defiling a mentally ill 14 year old girl in his house at Kiminini, Trans Nzoia County.
According to the Kiminini senior chief Jomo Mutoka, the moron Stephen Waliaula who repairs radios at the market was caught by the residents of the area defiling the minor in his house.
He revealed that the residents had been suspecting the man for a long time a situation which led them to follow him to his house before catching him red handed defiling the girl.
“Stephen Waliaula was caught by the residents from my location defiling the girl who is mentally disabled apparently they had been suspecting him of such inhuman acts for a while now but they decided to follow him to his house and caught him in the act” said the chief.
The chief said that the culprit was lucky to escape from the hands of the angry residents who were baying for his blood. The man is currently being held at the Kitale police station as he is expected to face the law.
He also gave a warning to people involved in such inhuman acts to cease or else if caught they will be charged accordingly.
