Ms Wanjiru will seek nomination on an ODM ticket where she will face-off with former Mumias Sugar chief executive Evans Kidero and former Nairobi City Council town clerk Philip Kisia.
She announced her candidature while presiding over a Sunday service at her Jesus is Alive Ministry (JIAM).
