According to the survey released on Tuesday morning, Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta will garner 51 percent while his competitor Prime Minister Raila Odinga will garner 42 percent if the upcoming presidential election enters a second round.
Also the Premier cannot beat Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi in case of a runoff. Musalia will garner 47 percent against Raila’s 43 percent if both enter the second round.
Meanwhile, in terms of party popularity, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is still the most popular party with 35 percent followed closely by The National Alliance party (which has less than five months since its formation) with 27 percent, United Republican Party URP at 6 percent, Wiper Democratic Movement at 4 percent and Party of National Unity (PNU) at 2 percent.
