Saturday, September 01, 2012 - Patrick Quarco the man behind Radio Africa has declared war on former Kenya Television Network’s former employees and current editors at Kiss TV against their style of disseminating news.
Apparently Quarco’s idea has been grounded by the two editors Muraya Kariuki and Yusuf Ali whose ideas are non reformist. According to Quarco his idea is for his reporters to present news like BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera an idea that the two editors are against.
Kiss TV is new in the broadcasting industry which is mainly dominated by Citizen TV, NTV and KTN. Their new style of presenting their broadcasts is meant to attract the youth in the country as they diversify their networks around the country.
Their initiative is to present non conventional stories that will attract more and more viewers and help the station in competing with the giants in the industry.
Muraya Kariuki and Yusuf Ali are alleged by reporters to still be holding the hapless KTN style and if they do not change to conformism they will bring down the upcoming station.
