Wednesday, August 29, 2012 - Police in Embu are
investigating the murder of a 28 year old woman at Dallas estate. The man is
alleged to have been stabbed to death by his 31 year old wife as they quarreled
over their two children.
Embu OCPD Gasper Makau said the woman stabbed the man and ran
out for help from neighbors raising alarm. According to her statement they were
having an argument when the man took a knife and attempted to stab her.
The woman however managed to grab the knife and stab her husband
in what she calls self defense. Neighbors who answered the woman’s distress
call rushed the man to Embu District hospital where he was announced dead on
arrival.
