Prince Charles was the guest of honor at an event at Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, South London commemorating the life of the late Prof Wangari Maathai.
The Prince of Wales joined more than 100 other guests on March 27th in paying tribute to the Nobel Peace Prize winner and Green Belt Movement founder. He described her as "someone whom I admired and loved so very greatly indeed" and planted a tree in her honor at the gardens.
