We want RAILA’s running mate to be William RUTO – Franklin BETT

Roads Minister Franklin Bett has pleaded with Eldoret North MP William Ruto to return to Orange Democratic Movement as Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s running mate in the forthcoming general election.

Bett, who is also the Buret MP, urged Ruto who is also the United Republican Party (URP) leader to humble himself and discuss unconditionally with the PM until they agree.

In the recent past, Mr Odinga and Mr Ruto have been holding talks aimed at striking a power sharing deal, but they haven’t agreed on anything yet.

Bett expressed confidence that if Ruto strikes a deal with Raila, they will win the Presidency out right without a runoff.

He also called on Deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi to rejoin the Orange party, saying he was duped by Party of National Unity (PNU) mafias to split the Luhya votes.
