The 59-year-old Anastasia was indicted by a grand jury back in 2007 with abusing a 90-year-old bed-ridden man under her care after the man's daughter caught her beating up the old man on surveillance camera. She was granted bail to await trial but immediately afterwards fled the country. After a 5-year manhunt, Baltimore City Police in conjunction with the FBI and Kenyan authorities arrested her in Kenya late last year. She was extradited back to Baltimore on August 30 of this year and has been held in jail since then with no option for bail pending trial.
