The future of Portugal midfielder Raul Meireles in Chelsea, remains uncertain, after reports indicated that Turkish club, Fernerbahce, are in talks with the Blues over the transfer of the midfielder.
The 29-year-old Portuguese international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge all summer and could be set to switch to the Turkish giants.
The former Liverpool man has failed to force his way into Roberto Di Matteo's starting line-up so far this season making only substitute appearances.
The Portugal international joined Chelsea on the nick of transfer window last summer after a single season at Liverpool, but has fallen down the pecking order in recent months, behind the likes of Frank Lampard, Ramires and John Obi Mikel.
He played a pivotal role in the Blues' Champions League successful campaign last season but missed out on the historic final through suspension.
Meireles has been linked with a possible move away from Stamford Bridge with Italian side, Napoli, featuring prominently.
The 29-year old has until September 5 to complete his move when the Turkish Transfer window closes.
