Another Blow To President UHURU Government As The High Court Issues another Order

The High Court on Monday stopped the Jubilee Government from publishing its achievements on print and electronic media pending hearing of a case filed by a lobby group.

The Presidential Delivery Unit, according to the case filed by the Katiba Institute been using public resources to publicize its achievements during the electioneering period.

The unit is said to have refused to respond to queries on how much it cost to run the #JubileeDelivers campaign.

”The Presidential Delivery Unit has been sued because it failed to provide information sought by the petitioner through a letter dated August 17, 2017,” the petition read in part.

The government has since its inception relied heavily on digital media to put across its agenda for its citizens as well as its achievements in the four years of governance.

In April, the government launched the www.delivery.go.ke website where Kenyans can track development projects across the 47 counties.
