President Uhuru Kenyatta Threatens Chief Justice David Maraga after nullifying his win

He was accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Majority leaders Aden Duale and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.

Reiterating the president's words, Mr Murkomen declared that the Jubilee Government will now remove the Supreme Court. “Hii mambo ya Supreme Court tutatoa kama serikali ya Jubilee..(As the Jubilee government we will do away with the Supreme Court matters) ” he stated. Earlier, Kenyatta expressed his disappointment on the ruling by the six-judge bench saying “I disagree but I respect the ruling of the Supreme Court.”

 Kenyatta called out the six judges proclaiming that they cannot go against the will of millions of Kenyans. “Watu sita hawawezi badilisha uamuzi ya Wakenya mamilioni (Six judges cannot change the decision of millions of Kenyans)” he conveyed. Video courtesy of NTV:
