The people made it clear on Sunday that they were yet to move on from her ‘selfish’ remarks made two weeks ago on NTV.
Wa Muchomba was part of the team accompanying Deputy President William Ruto on a campaign tour of parts of Kiambu county.
The DP after addressing the electorates as is norm gave the area leaders a chance to say a word. When he was about to hand over the microphone to the former Kameme Fm presenter, the crowd started chanting anti-wa muchomba slogans.

The now charged crowd embarrassed the legislator in front of the deputy Jubilee party leader. They went as far as calling her ‘Gathoni Wa Michaara.’
“Apana Apana…Hatutaki kuongeleshwa na Gathoni…Tafhadali usimpatie microphone hatuko tayari kumsikiliza,” the crowd shouted.
Taking control of the situation, the DP handed over the mic to Kiambu Senator Kimani wa Matangi.
Angry Kiambu residents who voted overwhelmingly for the former radio queen last week signed a petition that would have blocked her from being sworn in as their Woman Rep.
Wa Muchomba did however apologize to the President and her people for her ‘careless’ remarks.
