The Kenya Magistrate and Judges Association has condemned President Uhuru Kenyatta's attacks and threats to the Supreme Court and Chief Justice David Maraga.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the Association also warned the political class against personal profiling of Judicial officers who engaged in the Supreme Court verdict that nullified Kenyatta's win.
The same was reiterated by the Law Society of Kenya which censured the President for his continued remarks against the Judiciary.

"Ominously declaring that they (judges) should wait for him after he is successful in the coming fresh election is unfortunate and a wholly inappropriate remark from the Head of State who under the Constitution is a symbol of national unity, enjoys immunity from criminal and civil proceedings and must promote and enhance the unity of the nation," Okero stated.
Regarding the verdict, the magistrates applauded the Supreme Court of Kenya for delivering on its mandate within the stipulated time despite the possible challenges.
