Anne Ngugi was the darling of the 7pm news segment where her mastery of the Swahili language endeared her to her audience.
This was before she was chased away from K24 while pregnant making her life drastically change.
Well, beside being a TV news reader, Anne is also a mother. She was recently back on TV when she did an interview with Citizen TV and also appeared on KTN's Jeff Koinange. During this interviews the world got to meet her brilliant daughter Angel, who was born with a birth defect called congenital hydrocephalus (the build-up of excess cerebrospinal fluid in the brain at birth). Despite her condition, Angel has never let that deter her from following her dreams.
Anne is now in mourning.....
