Akothee is one of the most influential coast based musician and thus explains the reason why she managed to pay more than a hundred motorists to take part in her little campaign.

During the road trip where by the hundreds of motorbikes caused a traffic snarl-up at Mtwapa, Mombasa, a number of motorists might have misbehaved.
This made the traffic police to look into the issue and Akothee was escorted by two policemen to Mtwapa police station.
She was later released and posted on social media that there was no case to answer to. “Hata hakuna kesi, njoo home Mtwapa tule Machunga”
