The parents of the Kenyatta University graduate who was brutally killed by her former boyfriend has finally spoken after the tragic incident.

The family said it learned of her demise through social media.

John Akello, the father of the late Edinald Atieno said he had been expecting his daughter home to celebrate her graduation, according to the Star newspaper.

Akello denied that her killer was the one who paid his daughter’s fees.
