While most often we see a bubbly and energetic Wahu, the singer, however, wanted the world to know all was not like that in her teenage years.
While a teenager, the singer hated her life.
“When I was 19, I suffered from depression,” said the singer on a long Facebook post which had her opening up about her life.
“I thought my life was meaningless. I thought I was such a failure and a massive disappointment to my parents. I wanted to do myself (and the world) a Favor and just die. I remember walking past my dad’s medicine cabinet and just thinking how easy it would be to just ‘end this’.”
