He showed empathy for Itumbi and his pals after they lost the source of their bread and butter:

Now Nzioka Waita claims to have sacked them and disbanded PSCU. What about their livelihoods? Their bills, loans and obligations? What wrong did they do? Did you ask them to "show cause"? Are you just going to destroy lives of these young men without any thought of what they will do with themselves?
