Footage from the Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and the Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS) cameras show Jacob had a passenger whom he dropped near Trattoria Restaurant before he drove out of town.
Ndegwa Muhoro,who chairs the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss,said on Tuesday that the traveler, a lady, had been questioned and her statement taken.
All the individuals,including three cops who were the first at the scene of crime,have recorded their statements.
“The woman confirmed that she had met the deceased at lunchtime on the fateful day and they had agreed to meet later in the evening,” said Mr Muhoro.
In her official statement to the Police, she confirmed to have been dropped off later by a taxi driver at Rose Apartment on Brookside Drive, which was owned by Jacob Juma.
