On January 27th this year, slain businessman, Jacob Juma claimed that senior officials in the Jubilee Government were planning to assassinate him and they were trying to use Daily Nation to blackmail him.

In a detailed post, Juma claimed that the Jubilee regime was using Daily Nation to disparage him and then assassinate him in cold blood.

Juma even mentioned the name of Zadock Angira who he claimed was one of the assassins paid to kill him.
