Former First Lady Lucy Kibaki died on Tuesday at a hospital in London where she had gone for specialised treatment.

Lucy, 76, was flown to the seven star hospital after her private doctor, Dr Dan Gikonyo, referred her to the health facility situated at the heart of London.

Before she was flown to Bupa Cromwell Hospital in London, Lucy was first hospitalised in Nairobi Hospital where she was admitted for several weeks.
