POPULAR CHURCHILL SHOW COMEDIAN ARRESTED FOR CONNING KENYANS WHILE PURPORTING TO BE AN NTV EMPLOYEE

Fraudsters are on the loose on social media and it doesn’t matter what established company name they target, as long as they make money. They are professionals and speak good English to catch their prey.

NTV’s Investigative Editor Dennis Okari has followed a trail of this fraudsters whose official name is Dreamcast Productions who have been conning Kenyans in the name of Kenyans Got Talent auditions.

Wagithomo Of Churchill show the guy behind Dreamcast Productions was organizing auditions for Kenya got talent and demanding guys who wish to participate to contribute 1000 shillings to get a VIP ticket to attend the auditions.

What the guys did not know is that to do any TV show one must have intellectual property rights from the idea originators Fremantle Media which is a global content company with a network of offices across 31 markets. Fremantle Media raised alarm to NTV about the show since they had not authorized them to use their copyrighted works, hence Denis Okari setting up a trap and nabbing them with the help of police.
