A young Kenyan woman was murdered in cold blood by her male platonic friend in Dubai after she allegedly turned down his r0'mantic advances. The woman, Catherine Waithera Njogu, was reportedly murdered by the friend (a fellow Kenyan) after he stormed her workplace, beat her and stabbed her several times. She died on the spot.
Friends close to the two said that Waithera and Watson had been in love before but had broken up and it is after making barren attempts to woo her back into his life failed when the troubled man cut short her life.
