This was when she stormed into the Daily Nation offices where she staged a protest for a whopping 5 hours and accused the Nation of printing lies. A story that captured worldwide headlines with publications like the Guardian, Gulf News and BBC running with the story.
4. Mama Lucy will be remembered for being no-nonsense as during her Daily Nation protest , she was accused of assaulting Clifford Derrick a camera man who she slapped after she caught him filming her during her Daily Nation storm-in.
5. Aside from Derrick, she allegedly once slapped lawyer and politician Gitobu Imanyara at State House and also smacked an MC during a Jamhuri Day’s State House ceremony. The presiding MC earned the slap for referring to Lucy Kibaki as Lucy Wambui instead of Lucy Muthoni.
