She couldn’t understand how Julie behaved like a saint yet some politicians would bribe her for positive coverage.
Julie was also jealous of Anne because she was over-shadowing her.
According to sources, she did everything possible to bring Anne down including spreading gossip about her to the management.
When Julie Gichuru threatened to resign early this year, the management at Citizen TV were fed up with her diva traits and that’s why they told her to pack and go in peace.
Ann Kiguta replaced her but she refused the popular Africa Dialogue Leadership show to be aired on Citizen TV, claiming that she is the one who had created it and all the rights were reserved to her.
She now airs the show on KBC but it has been received poorly.
