In a 16 page affidavit, Josephine Kabura Irungu, revealed that former devolution CS Anne Waiguru asked her to pay Standard Newspaper reporter, Mr Mwaniki Munuhe a sum of Kshs 10 million.
“She informed me that she had been working with these media personalities since she joined the government. She also instructed me to give Mr Mwaniki Munuhe the sum of Sh10 million for purposes of propaganda and to assist clean my name,” she said.
Mr Mwaniki was allegedly tasked with the job of cleaning Waiguru's name and give Kenyans the wrong information about the NYS scandal.
