President Uhuru Kenyatta recently surprised his wife and children after he treated them to a supriise lunch at the popular Sugarcane Restaurant located at Garden City Mall along Thika Super Highway.
The first family took everyone by surprise when they walked into the Caribbean hotel.

Kathy Getonga, one of the proprietors of the hotel expressed her delight at hosting the first family. "It was not planned, we were really honoured and happy to have him there, we really appreciated", Kathy said.

According to management, the president and his family ate Chicken-Jerk, Oxtail, Curry goat, Beef patties, Rice and peas. However, they did not disclose how much they spent.
