The energetic detectives descended her palatial home in the leafy suburb of Kitisuru and turned everything upside down. According to her lawyer Mr. Ahmednasir Abdullahi, the detectives who had a search permit from the court searched every nook and cranny of her premises. Even her children’s’ rooms were not spared in the search. They moved from one room to another. In the end they left with some unidentified documents.
The search came days after Ms Waiguru had resigned from her position of being a cabinet secretary due to a series of corruption scandals that faced her. She was not in the house during the search.
