In a statement issued by Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) Chairman, David Murathe, on Friday on behalf of Uhuru, the President’s party demanded to know what ODM and its leader Raila Odinga seek to achieve by dragging Uhuru Kenyatta’s name into the ICC fixing claims.
Murathe said Raila and ODM are trying to divide the Jubilee Coalition using the ICC debate by setting the Deputy President against his boss, Uhuru
The former Gatanga MP, who is also a close friend of Uhuru, asked ODM to come clear on what its intention are regarding the fixing claims and whether they want Ruto’s case dropped or only to complicate it ahead of the 2017 campaign period.
He said Uhuru never fixed Ruto and what ODM is doing is trying to create a wedge between the Kikuyu and Kalenjin communities like they did in 2007 so that they can divide Rift Valley votes in 2017.
Murathe said their plan will fail terribly because Ruto’s case will be terminated soon.
