Here Is That Video Of A Luthuli Avenue Billionaire Being MANHANDLED By Police Officers That has Gone Viral

He has successfully carved a niche for himself for being the first Kenyan to grab the president’s attention by writing to him in a full page paid advert. An online video that was shared by activist Cyprian Nyakundi on social media has emerged showing how police manhandled businessman Muktar Ahmed.

In the video officers wearing what resembles Administration Police uniforms are seen harassing Mr. Muktar during the raid that was meant to evict him from his business premises located along Luthuli Avenue in Nairobi CBD.

The police manhandled the businessman after he refused to allow them at the business premises. One officer is heard saying “weka huyu mtu chini”.

As the exchange of words and scuffle continue, Mr.Muktar is heard mourning in a loud voice prompting another officer to say“achana nae”.

The businessman while speaking to a local media outlet has confirmed the authenticity of the video and that indeed he was the one being harassed.

“There has been a court case for the last three years where the owner of the premises wanted to evict me without prior notice as per the lease agreement. We filed a lawsuit seeking an order to bar the eviction and the case is still pending in court,” he said.
