Since news broke out that controversial SONU chairman Babu Owino was throwing a Kshs 14 million birthday party, everyone started waiting in anticipation to see how it would go down.
The much anticipated day came and passed and there was no news of the birthday party of the year.
Babu fooled us all. This was just another publicity stunt and we all fell for it.
Instead of importing entertainment girls from Ethiopia he did a rather noble deed. The dude spent the day at Thomas Bernados Children's Home along Lang'ata Road where he made a contribution of Kshs 300,000.
During the evening he attended the SOMA award gala where he scooped an award.
