Mwanaisha who was one of the high-profile employees was sent home during Standard Group’s infamous massive retrenchment.
According to sources, the elegant news anchor was fired as she made her way to the set of her new show ‘Maisha na Isha’ .
Mwanaisha has remained tight-lipped about the whole issue and there have been rumors that the swahili news anchor was suing standard for the rude firing.
After about two months of silence, Mwanaisha has finally disclosed that she had not been fired but quit on her own.
“I wasn’t fired I retired and I am now concentrating on my hospitality business.” she said.
