Kenya’s most stylish and luxurious school has been sold out to Educas, a UK based private equity funds for Sh 3.6 billion making it one of the biggest transactions Kenya has made in the high-end education centre.

The school founder, Piyush Mehta, who held 25% stake at the institution received Sh.900 million while Victoria Banks which is associated with the family of managing director Yogesh Pattni, received Sh720 million in the deal.
AfricInvest received Sh1 billion in the buyout, a return of 212 per cent on the Sh346.1 million it paid for a 30 per cent stake in 2010.
