The third year political science and sociology student at the University of Nairobi flew to Chennai, India at Apollo Hospital for the surgery after receiving donations through a social media campaign.

Since 2012, when Jadudi was diagnosed with Ependymoma, he had undergone three surgeries, chemotherapy and physiotherapy.
