Drama began when officials arrested Gor Mahia's Jaro Soja for standing on seats during the teams semi final match against Khartoum. The drama prompted the cameraman, Njehia, to film the incident not knowing it would also land him in jail.
As Mike Okinyi tried to intervene to stop the arrest of his cameraman, he was also arrested. The three were later released after the intervention of Cecafa Secretary General Nicholas Musonye.
