However as we have seen with many male leaders in the country, having a 'Mpango wa kando' is seen to be the trend. A few months ago, a woman from Coast came out to claim that she was having an affair with Mike Sonko and despite siring two kids with him he had refused to cater for their upkeep.
The lady named Josephine Nduku later filed a case in court demanding for an upkeep but a DNA test later proved that the Senator was not the biological father of the child. Even after the DNA test, Josephine still insisted that the child was his and that he had doctored the results.
“He invites me to his hotel room and we still have a good time and I cherish the moments. However, these makeup sessions are fraught with drama. There was a time he asked me to meet him at a hotel in Diani, only for him to show up with a female politician,” She said during an interview.
