Chaos erupted in a Thika restaurant on Saturday after a woman stormed the restaurant to reclaim her husband who was enjoying himself with a college girl.

The woman who was identified as Julia Watiri said that her husband left her at home and said that he was going to view a piece of land which he was to purchase in Ruiru.

Watiri said that they had planned with her husband to spend their Valentine’s Day in Oldonyo-Sabuk National Park, but the man alleged that he had received a call to go and view the piece of land.

The woman said that she was informed by a friend that her husband was in town with a lady and when she called him, the husband alleged that he was at the site viewing the piece of land after which she launched a search for her husband in his favourite restaurants where she luckily found him.

She said that the husband had betrayed her to the highest order despite the efforts she put to make him happy. The woman added that she wanted to teach the college girl who was with her husband a lesson to respect other people’s families.

“I feel very much betrayed by my husband. I could not believe my eyes when I found him in a restaurant with a cheap girl, especially after lying to me that he was going to view the land in Ruiru. I wish I got hold of that cheap girl, she could have learnt a lesson not to hang around people’s husbands for the rest of her life,” swore the angry Watiri.

The club manager Johnson Kioko said that he had no idea of what was happening until the time wrangles begun in the restaurant and a girl run out very fast, a commotion Kioko said made him know what was happening since the woman was disrupting business on that busy day.

He said that they managed to cool down the woman before they left the restaurant for their home.
