Nairobi County police commander Benson Kibue said the accident involving the plane belonging to Skyward airlines occurred around 4.30 am.
“The plane crash landed and burst into flames, four occupants were killed and we are combing through the debris to find out if there are more,” he said.
The plane crashed into two commercial buildings.
Mr Kibue said the plane number 5Y-CET, had taken off from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and was ferrying cargo to Mogadishu Somalia.
