The dinner, attended by the cast of the film and other invited celebrities, took place on the eve of Hollywood’s biggest night - Oscar awards which take place tonight in Hollywood. The film has been nominated for nine awards, including an award for Best Supporting Actress in which Lupita Nyong’o is the nominee.
Lupita’s role in the film turned her into an overnight Hollywood A-Lister, earning her numerous awards and media appearances. Her face has also appeared in several top fashion magazine including Glamour Magazine, Essence Magazine, Du Jour, New York Magazine, among many others.
